Now the topic we are working on in class is music, and I think this resource is very informative and interesting. I could use this resource as material for a speaking activity in class in combination with oral mediation.
Aim of the activity: The aim of this activity is to choose the right band for a assigned person.
Instructions: Each student will
have a card describing a character. For example, a middle-aged man who enjoys listening
to heavy metal, a woman who loves music from the 60s… Each student will select
a rock band for the character they are given, and after that, in pairs or
groups of three, each student will describe the character in their card and the
band they have chosen, giving arguments for their selection.
